SHIPPING
We offer Free Delivery to anywhere in Ireland on our Edible Prints. Standard pre-designed toppers and Create Your Own toppers ordered before 2pm are posted the same day. Custom Designs where a draft is requested are also posted the same day once approved before 2pm. If approval is after 2pm then they are posted next day.
We do not use a courier service, we use standard letter post with An Post to send out all our toppers, so it will come with your postman, they will usually arrive the next working day from the day it is posted but you do need to allow 1-2 working days. Postal delays do occur so please plan ahead and order accordingly. Post may vary also during, pandemics, bad weather conditions, postal strikes and holiday times of the year. We cannot take responsibility for toppers delayed in the post.
To allow for any delays we do recommend ordering your topper early the week before you need it, allowing 5-10 working days, where if there is any error or delay, there is time to send a replacement.
If you order the week that you need the topper we cannot be held responsible if a delay happens and you may not be intitled to a refund.
We do not hold orders to post closer to a date the topper is required. The date the topper is required is only used if we are very busy and need to prioritse orders, but they are generally posted the same day or the next day.
Toppers are posted in an A4 DO NOT BEND hardback envelope.
There is no post in Ireland at weekends or Bank Holidays, so toppers ordered after 2pm on a Friday are not processed and posted until Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a bank holiday.
During annual busy periods such as Christmas/New Year once the item is posted either the same day or the next working day, we will not accept responsibility for postal delays. It is up to you the customer to understand there may be delays and to allow extra time for postage during these periods. We do not refund for toppers that are delayed in the post.
If you place an order for a topper on Thursdays we cannot guarantee that it will arrive for the weekend. You are taking the risk and 99% of the time they do arrive, we do not give refunds if it does not arrive on time, as we do recommend allowing at least the minimum of 1-2 working days for delivery.
WE NOW OFFER THE OPTION ON CHECKOUT FOR TRACKED AND REGISTERED(EXPRESS) POST AT AN EXTRA CHARGE.
TRACKED OR REGISTERD (EXPRESS) POST DOES NORMAILLY ARRIVE THE NEXT DAY, HOWEVER IT IS NOT GUARANTEED AND IT CAN STILL TAKE 1-2 WORKING DAYS.
AN POST IS CLOSED ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY, SO TRACKED AND REGISTERED (EXPRESS) ORDERED AFTER 2PM ON THURSDAY WILL NOT ARRIVE UNTIL THE FOLLOWING MONDAY.
A delivery charge of €5 may apply to products other than Edible Prints in the store.
UK & INTERNATIONAL: There is an extra charge of €5.00 for delivery to the UK and €10.00 for the rest of the world. Delivery time is generally 5-10 Working Days. But please allow time for any delays, there have been longer delays due to Brexit and COVID19
Caketop.ie is an online-based store based in Ireland. We cannot facilitate collection for last-minute orders.
RETURNS | CANCELLATIONS
At Caketop.ie we are confident that you will be happy with the quality of your topper. Unfortunately, due to food hygiene regulations, we cannot accept returns, for any toppers ordered in error, change of mind, not received in time.
Orders for Toppers cannot be cancelled once they have been processed.
Toppers can only be refunded if they are damaged in the post or sent with the wrong wording or design, that we have incorrectly printed, if this is the case, please send us a photograph of the error and a replacement will then be posted out or a refund is given if there is no time to send a replacement.
REFUNDS ARE ONLY PROVIDED IF WE HAVE MADE AN ERROR ON YOUR ORDER, WHICH IS TOTALLY OUR FAULT
Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for any delays caused by the carrier An Post or weather disruptions.
Toppers returned to us due to non-collection, incorrect address supplied or buyer refusing delivery will not be refunded, and only offered to be re-sent at the buyer’s cost.
HUMID WEATER CONDITIONS
During the summer months, humid weather can affect the toppers and make them more difficult to remove, we provide instructions on how to overcome this with your topper and in the FAQ section on the website. Once the topper is dry it will release from the backing. This is not a fault with the product, it can happen with any fondant products. We do not refund due to difficulty with removing the topper during humid conditions.
PRINTING
Sometimes color when printed can alter slightly to the color. If providing an image please ensure you provide a clear/photo image as the quality will be reflected in your icing sheet. I should point out that the colors may be slightly different from those on screen.
Occasionally toppers may differ slightly from the example shown on the website. All cake toppers are created and printed individually
COPYRIGHT
Please note our fee charged is for a creative service and the personalization of your product/image for one-time use. At Edible Cake Toppers | Caketop.ie we try to ensure we are not infringing any copyright protections. The majority of images we use are private and or supplied by our customers or obtained from copyright free sites. If, however you see the use of any image which you believe is protected by copyright please advise us immediately by email with details, and where relevant we will ensure it is withdrawn from use. All items are not licensed products; all character images used are free and not being sold. We DO NOT SELL or claim ownership over the character clipart or graphics; they belong to their respective copyright holders
You must have permission to use any images you send to us for printing. All printing is undertaken for your personal use and we do not accept legal responsibility for how you use and display your edible prints.
PRIVACY
Edible Cake Toppers respects your privacy. Click here to read the current privacy policy of the Website. It forms an integral part of these Terms. Given that the privacy policy may change from time to time, it is recommended that you read it periodically.
CHRISTMAS/PUBLIC HOLIDAYS/POSTAL STRIKES & EXTREME WEATHER
During Christmas, New Year, postal strikes or extreme weather conditions, or COVID19, please be aware that the shipping times may be subject to change. Will we ensure items are posted as soon as possible during these times to allow for such delays rather than using the ‘Date Required By’.

It is up to you the customer to understand there may be delays and to allow extra time for shipping during these periods.
