Orders for toppers placed before 2pm are dispatched on the same day. Custom designs that require a draft will also be sent out the same day, provided we receive approval before 2pm. If approval occurs after 2pm, the items will be shipped the following day
WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?
While icing sheets can remain effective for up to 6 months, we suggest placing your order approximately 2 weeks prior to your event. This allows the colors to maintain their vibrancy and ensures timely delivery for your occasion.
Caketop.ie operates as an online store located in Ireland. We are unable to accommodate collection and exclusively dispatch toppers through postal services. Orders cannot be placed via social media or telephone; all transactions must be completed through our website. |
Postal services in Ireland are unavailable during weekends and Bank Holidays; therefore, any orders placed after 2pm on a Friday will not be dispatched until the following Monday, or Tuesday if Monday is a Bank Holiday.
All toppers are dispatched via An Post and will be delivered by your local postman, packaged in a rigid A4 DO NOT BEND envelope.
Selecting the FREE POST option at checkout means there will be no tracking number provided, making it impossible to monitor your order’s status.
Typically, toppers are expected to arrive the next working day after dispatch, although it is advisable to allow 1-3 working days for delivery.
Please be aware that postal delays may occur, particularly during pandemics, adverse weather, postal strikes, and holiday seasons, and we cannot assume responsibility for any delays in delivery.
At checkout, you can opt for TRACKED or EXPRESS post for an additional fee; while these services usually deliver the next day, they are not guaranteed and may take 1-2 working days (Monday to Friday).
Orders for Tracked or Registered post placed before 2pm will be dispatched the same day, while those made after 2pm will be sent out the following working day.
If a topper is returned due to an “insufficient or incomplete address,” we are unable to issue refunds or replacements, and a new order will be necessary.
SHORT NOTICE ORDERS
When ordering a topper on short notice or specifically on a Thursday for weekend use, we cannot assure timely delivery. This entails a risk on your part. While 99% of the time they do arrive as expected, please be aware that we do not offer refunds for toppers that are delayed in transit.
BUSY PERIODS | CHRISTMAS
We cannot be held accountable for postal delays during peak times in An Post, such as the Christmas season. Customers are advised to anticipate potential delays and to factor in additional time for delivery. The final posting date for Christmas is December 19th, and the organization will be closed annually from December 19th to January 2nd for holiday leave
UK & INTERNATIONAL POSTAGE
We provide shipping services to the UK, Europe, and internationally. During the checkout process, customers can select either standard or express shipping options for the UK, Europe, and global destinations. Please be aware that standard shipping is untracked, and we cannot monitor the package once it is in the postal system. It is recommended to consider possible delays, especially those caused by Brexit and COVID-19.
The duration for international delivery varies by country; however, it is advisable to allow a minimum of 7 to 14 business days (Monday to Friday). Please be aware that delays may occur, so it is prudent to plan accordingly.
International customers are requested to provide their complete and accurate address, along with a phone number that includes the country code.
RETURNS | CANCELLATIONS
At Caketop.ie, we assure you of the high quality of your topper. However, due to food hygiene regulations, we are unable to accept returns for toppers ordered by mistake, due to a change of mind, or if they do not arrive on time. Once an order for toppers has been processed, it cannot be canceled.
Refunds are only applicable for toppers that are damaged during shipping or contain incorrect wording or design due to our error. In such cases, please provide a photograph of the issue, and we will either send a replacement or issue a refund if time does not permit a replacement.
Refunds are strictly granted only when the error is attributable to us. We regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds for delays caused by An Post or adverse weather conditions. Toppers returned due to non-collection, incorrect addresses, or refusal of delivery will not be refunded; instead, they may be resent at the buyer’s expense.
REFUNDS
Refunds will be issued solely in cases where caketop.ie has committed an error regarding your order, which constitutes a complete oversight on our part.
