SHIPPING

We provide Free Delivery throughout Ireland for our Edible Prints. Standard pre-designed toppers and Create Your Own toppers ordered before 2pm are dispatched on the same day. Custom Designs requiring draft approval are also sent the same day if approved before 2pm; otherwise, they will be shipped the following day. We utilize standard letter post through An Post for all deliveries, which are typically received the next working day, although it is advisable to allow at least 1-2 working days due to potential postal delays. Factors such as pandemics, adverse weather, postal strikes, and holiday periods may affect delivery times, and we cannot be held liable for any delays.

To accommodate any unforeseen delays, we recommend placing your order 2 weeks before your event. If you place an order during the week it is needed, we cannot accept responsibility for any delays, and refunds may not be granted.

All toppers are shipped in an A4 DO NOT BEND hardback envelope. Please note that there is no postal service in Ireland on weekends or Bank Holidays, meaning that orders placed after 2pm on Friday will not be processed or dispatched until the following business day.

During peak seasons such as Christmas and New Year, once an item is dispatched on the same day or the following business day, we cannot be held liable for any postal delays. Customers are advised to anticipate potential delays and to factor in additional time for delivery during these busy periods. Refunds will not be issued for toppers that experience postal delays.

For orders placed on Thursdays, we cannot assure delivery by the weekend. While the likelihood of timely arrival is high, we do not provide refunds for late deliveries, as we recommend allowing a minimum of 1-2 business days for shipping.

TRACKED SHIPPING

We now provide the choice of tracked and registered (express) post at an additional cost during the checkout process.

While tracked or registered (express) post typically arrives the next day, this is not guaranteed, and delivery may take 1-2 working days.

Please note that An Post is closed on Saturdays and Sundays; therefore, any tracked and registered (express) orders placed after 2 PM on Thursday will not be delivered until the following Monday.

UK, EUROPE & INTERNATIONAL

We provide shipping services to the UK, Europe, and internationally. During the checkout process, customers can select either standard or express shipping options for the UK, Europe, and global destinations. Please be aware that standard shipping is untracked, and we cannot monitor the package once it is in the postal system. It is recommended to consider possible delays, especially those caused by Brexit and COVID-19.

RETURNS | CANCELLATIONS

At Caketop.ie, we assure you of the high quality of your topper. However, due to food hygiene regulations, we are unable to accept returns for toppers ordered by mistake, due to a change of mind, or if they do not arrive on time. Once an order for toppers has been processed, it cannot be canceled.

Refunds are only applicable for toppers that are damaged during shipping or contain incorrect wording or design due to our error. In such cases, please provide a photograph of the issue, and we will either send a replacement or issue a refund if time does not permit a replacement.

Refunds are strictly granted only when the error is attributable to us. We regret to inform you that we cannot provide refunds for delays caused by An Post or adverse weather conditions. Toppers returned due to non-collection, incorrect addresses, or refusal of delivery will not be refunded; instead, they may be resent at the buyer’s expense.

REFUNDS

Refunds will be issued solely in cases where caketop.ie has committed an error regarding your order, which constitutes a complete oversight on our part.

HUMID WEATER CONDITIONS

Humid conditions during the summer can complicate the removal of toppers; however, we offer guidance on addressing this issue in the instructions and FAQ section of our website. Once the topper dries, it will detach from the backing. This occurrence is not a defect in the product, as it can happen with any fondant items. Refunds are not provided for challenges related to topper removal in humid weather.

PRINTING

The printed color may vary slightly from the original hue. When submitting an image, it is essential to provide a clear photograph, as the quality will influence the final appearance of your icing sheet. It is important to note that the colors may not match exactly with what is displayed on the screen.

Cake toppers may also exhibit minor differences from the examples presented on the website, as each topper is produced and printed individually.

Our fee is associated with the creative service and the customization of your product/image for a single use. At Edible Cake Toppers | Caketop.ie, we strive to respect copyright laws. Most images utilized are either private, provided by our customers, or sourced from copyright-free platforms. If you identify any image that you believe infringes on copyright, please notify us via email with the relevant details, and we will take appropriate action to remove it. None of our items are licensed products; all character images are free and not for sale. We do not sell or claim ownership of character clipart or graphics, which remain the property of their respective copyright holders. You must have the necessary permissions for any images you submit for printing. All printing is conducted for your personal use, and we do not assume legal responsibility for the manner in which you utilize or display your edible prints.
